Bemo unstaking

Using Bemo's Unstake function redeems bmGRAM for GRAM, the native coin of The Open Network (TON). The documented cooldown is 36 to 72 hours, depending on the validation round's phase and duration. The end of that wait and receipt of GRAM in the wallet are separate states.

Token and access requirements

Older Bemo materials use the names bmTON and TON. The application separately presents migration for legacy stGRAM holdings, so identify the token and Bemo version before choosing a withdrawal action. The application requires you to connect a cryptocurrency wallet before interacting with Bemo's smart contracts.

Bemo's Terms of Use, last updated May 24, 2024, require users to be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) and impose jurisdiction and sanctions restrictions. Excluded jurisdictions include the United States, North Korea, Cuba, Iran and Syria.

How validation rounds affect the wait

Initiating unstaking through the application's Unstake function starts the cooldown. Bemo allocates pooled GRAM to participating validators, whose work is organized into rounds. The phase and duration of the applicable round affect the withdrawal wait.

Network upgrades may temporarily disable withdrawals. This availability condition is separate from the validation-round cooldown.

How the GRAM amount is determined

Bemo's application FAQ states that the withdrawal exchange rate is set when the request is made. The redemption relationship is GRAM amount = bmGRAM unstaked * bmGRAM price , with the price measured in GRAM per bmGRAM.

The pool rate incorporates staking rewards after Bemo's 20% reward fee. Network and possible unstaking fees are separate, so the redemption formula alone does not calculate the total exit cost.

Unstaking and selling bmGRAM

Exit route Rate and waiting condition
Bemo protocol redemption Uses the protocol's bmGRAM/GRAM exchange rate. The documented cooldown is 36 to 72 hours, depending on the validation round's phase and duration.
Sale on a DEX that supports bmGRAM Uses a market quote and depends on available liquidity. A completed sale transfers the withdrawal rights represented by the sold bmGRAM to the buyer and does not use Bemo's protocol redemption cooldown.

After the cooldown

Bemo's Unstaking guide says that the requested GRAM can be claimed at any time after the cooldown expires. Its application FAQ describes tokens being sent to the wallet after the waiting period. The application FAQ does not specify whether settlement needs a separate claim, so confirm the applicable settlement step in Bemo before assuming that a request pays automatically.

A GRAM credit in the receiving wallet establishes receipt. A withdrawal request or an expired cooldown alone does not establish that payment has arrived.
